When you get the error message “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of…” Please note that it is a server limitation. Send that message to your hosting company and they will increase your max memory for scripts.
That will fix the issue.

what server and hosting package do you suggest acquiring to run this template + plugin smoothly?

You can use any host, just make sure that the minimum values of the memory_limit, post_max_size and upload_max_filesize properties are 128M and that the plan can support the activation of the Imagick module. Thanks
